awesome show!
i love hong kong dramas.
because hong kong artists can act so much better than local ones.
and cantonese is a more beautiful language than chinese.
and at least hong kong dramas make sense. not all of them.
hong kong dramas revolve around family values, so i guess, because thats sth i hold on to dearly, it touches me more,too.
and they can really move you, because their acting is awesome.

anyway i heard the recent show on channel 8 received v bad comments.
i remember when i first heard about it was like oooh, i shall watch it cos i like zoe tay and tay ping hui. but i couldn endure through fifteen minutes of it.
ok i did, i told myself that id give mediacorp a chance, and hoped tat maybe by the end of the hour they would pick up pace. but they didnt.
it was really really agonizing.
they are trying too hard to be like hong kong dramas.
whatever happened to the veteran actors i once thought were acting kings and queens?
well maybe whe The Unbeatables aired, i was too young to remember, and i probably haven watched my first hong kong drama then.
plus, hongkees are so much cuter and better-looking.
give up, la.
cant wait for the next hong kong drama to come out
