the rainy season is coming,woohoo! i LOOOOOOOOOOVE THE RAIN. dont you??? the pitter patter,not so much. but the scent of the rain on dry earth.. petrichor. the cold. but not the raised level of humidity afterward.lol. especially if im at home,snug and safe from the brewing storms outside dah window,its gooooood.
anyway on a deeper,darker note.. my migraines are back. not full-blown back just yet,but reaching ): why,when others just have to deal with back-to-school blues,i have to deal with back-to-school migraines?? ): 's not fair! ):
actually,alot of ppl have no friggin idea what a migraine is. cant blame yall la,the lucky idiots who never have to experience what it is. but not knowing is one thing, and THINKING you know it is another. id like to clarify some matters with yall out there who think you know what a friggin migraine is and think you've ever had the 'bad luck' to have it before when its just a stupid headache. damn you losers!
1) a migraine is not JUST a really bad headache. it INVOLVES a really bad headache,but i dont see how thats JUST a headache. morons.
2) a migraine is actually a neurological syndrome(whatever that is) that involves altered bodily experiences,including headaches,nausea,photophobia and shits.
that means my senses become more sensitive,and lights appear brighter,noises seem louder than they really are.
so migraine is not really due to stress. its neurological. and in my case, hereditary. next time a friend of yours have a migraine, dont try to ask 'are you okay? is it stress?' because even if you are whispering, it sounds freaking loud to the poor soul. instead offer to dim the lights or just shut up, shutting up is fine (:
there is no known cure for migraines,although migraineurs(they even came up with a fancy name for ppl with migraines!) who have had botox jabs find their migraine spells mysteriously (but miraculously i say) gone.
and migraines also affect women more than it does men. WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE FEMALES? WHY????????

[la edite] i was just browsing some websites on migraines, and i realise,there're just too many explanations for what it really is. but i chanced upon a particularly disturbing one, regarding how migraine-sufferers have different brains. and how migraines actually damage the brain.permanently.
