rehearsals today!
finally,we're really moving from blowing notes to playin music!
of course we're still not really feeling the music,but at least today was not bad leh!
must be the morale boost from alumnis i guess.
timpani was loud today!yay!also help boost morale of band i reckon.
timpani very important one alright! vanessa,have faith!(hit harder la)
then we move here move there quite slack la.
my favourite prac was when we sec fours played with the alumnis leh.
so funny,they never fail to make me laugh.
lol.like its supposed to be pianisimo and the french horn alumni go play fortesimo!!
then stopped abruptly with a loud rumbunctious *OOPS*
haha...they really boost my morale la.
so many trumpet alumnis playing yet only two turned up today-.-
the two oldest and most enthu one. (besides *tortoise*)
hope enough trumpets?
and that WE WONT OVERPOWER THE BAND.HAHAR.
we're blastards.ha.
today i dunno i really sorta felt the music when i play.only phantom la.lol.
but still..hope that ahband will be able to perform another of our miracles on that day,and really play with so much feeling and passion we'll move the aud,ehh?

and then we had the fanfare...d'oh we have to like stand stone still for like ten friggin minutes for a stupid guest of honour.
wearing the disgusting stuffy winter-clothe-style bright red blazer.and longsleeved tee inside.and TIE.and court shoes.
thankgoodness i standing at the back,then on that day i can take off my court shoes and play like i did last year.

oh so we then proceeded to the aircon hall for the GRRRRAND finale-singing!it is SO our thing la,singing.
we reached early and listened to choir sing from the back.it was beautiful music.really,the chords were really so nice.
and they really were feeling their music.not like ahband.
we should feel inferior man.and its high time we showed them wut ahband is made of.
and i wonder-why is ahband so shy??????
and dead.no feelings one.
and then we sang onto higher ground.
no,not sing,we croaked and squeakd and shouted ''onto higher ground''.
put beside the choir,we really sounded like cawking crows and like an uncivilised lot.ha!!
who cares.we got so high at the back and kept zao-xia-ing.
and ms lee only said that guitar and harmonica too soft.
never praise us for spoiling our throats!!!! wut is this man.bah.

well its really nice to see and feel the ahband spirit again...
and i realise how much i'll miss ahband,really.
my second home,my family.

i find that ive let ppl down..
i find that im overreacting and oversensitive.

i just praised the band.
and suddenly things come tumbling down again.
